Fandom Tape VOL:1
Fandom Tape Vol:1 is the latest Nerdcore hip-hop album by artist Ambush Vin ...Personally, I prefer the term Nerdhop but hey ho...if you have the same feelings I do about the current state of the hip-hop genre, and think it only focuses on likes and shares instead of beat and rhymes then this is the album for you.
Fandom Tape VOL:1 uses Comic,video-games and all sorts of 'nerd' related themes as an allegory for the artist Ambush Vin growing up in an urban environment and growing musically.
You can definitely hear this in the first track Power Man.
First appearance of the comic book character Power-man
If you are a fan of TRUE Hip-hop, and like a little nerd variety then pick this mix-tape up its set for release 8th of December 2017.
Another thing you'll definitely pick up on listening to Fandom Tape VOL:1 is the excellent lyricism, as a hip-hop fan I've become sick and tired of this trend of 'Mumble Rap'. Mumble rap is the style where you sound end up sounding like your drunk trying to remember a song for karaoke,
With the wave of crappy hip-hop that has been crashing on the industry shores it is great to see that there are still some big fish out there KILLING IT.
I highly recommend this album especially when you're banging it out in the gym

Ed Sheeran deleted his Twitter account on Monday,Can you believe it
The singer got a ton of mixed reactions after a slighlty cringy cameo on the season premiere of Game of Thrones, and like a good guy in Game Of Thrones his Twitter account has mysteriously vanished
looks pretty cool plus its a tattoo with an extra function
Pretty cool concept what song would you get?....i think I'd get this
Founder of Soundwave Tattoos states Nate Siggard,
while I see if 'Back Door Guests Are Best' looks like it would make a cool tramp stamp:
Once again Gorillaz are doing what they do best, being unique, multifaceted
and banging!!! HUMANZ
2-D (Vocals/Keys), Murdoc Niccals (Bass Guitar),Russel Hobbs (Percussion) and Noodle (Lead Guitar) are back on point and with perfect form.Their new album HUMANZ comes in a couple formats there are14 tracks on the regular edition, with five more on the deluxe. A Super Deluxe Vinyl Box Set will also contain each of the 14 regular edition tracks on its own piece of vinyl, backed by an alternate version.
from a industry where big fish,copy-cat and bland artists/bands get pushed to the front over unique and different sounds, Gorillaz once again burst out of the ocean like Godzilla breathing their atomic breath of Electro, House, Hip-hop and HARD beats.
According to a press release, the album was recorded in London, Paris, New York, Chicago, and Jamaica and produced by Gorillaz, Pusha T/John Legend collaborator the Twilite Tone of D /\ P, and Remi Kabaka.A staple of Gorillaz is the amazing collaborations De La Soul, Mavis Staples & Pusha T,Grace Jones and many many more.
AND JUST LOOK AT THE ALBUM ARTWORK
one of my favourite things that Gorillaz does best is collaborations.
Get an artist to put their own take on a track not just appear as a cameo, its so lame when you see random artist cameo on track

Foggy London town!
With all of our individual tastes, we feel we met in the middle and our genre naturally became alt-rock
We've been making music since late 2013.
Our main influences would be Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Black Stone Cherry and Led Zeppelin
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, Letlive, Crobot and Foo Fighters
There are more genres and sounds being heard as more and more unsigned artists are making music at home and sharing their work online. People grow to be more open to new music, such as alt-rock
We're looking to do more gigs and try to get some radio airplay to get our music out there! We're also busy writing new material for an album release
Apart from gigging we're really into our board/video games and watching movies
We don't really to compare ourselves to anyone else as we're open to different styles of music and ideas, we don't tend to think about comparison
Recording and releasing our 2016 EP - George Q
A lot of mainstream music that gets labelled as alt rock can be too poppy and a lot of computerisation used. What's missing is more real rock with a more organic feel.

Lucia Fasano is an indie pop in the vain of Regina Spector or Carly Rae Jepsen.
Radio Silence is a sea of adolescence and emotion.
Her album predominately features her Mandolin with backing percussion. Each track delves into the deep waters of grief, despair, pessimism but also the of hope and wavering nature of adulthood. The production is solid and clean, this quality is not of an indie artist but a true singer looking to tell a story through her poetry.
The album is enjoyable upbeat and catchy,Produced by Larry Crane, the first ever album from Double-clicks Records. The label Created by Billboard-charting pop band The DoubleClicks.
Acoustic Nerdfolk band
The PDX Broadsides
will be releasing their new album,
Something's Rotten, on August 30th 2016,
Interesting album, it reminds me of that classic acoustic rock that was big in the late 60s early 70s. Its supposed to be a nerd-centric album but I couldn't tell until I listen carefully to the lyrics. This is one of the rare albums in which you can listen to it without being aware of the nerd culture references, A lot of bands that have the motif of nerd culture usually fall in to the trap of filling each song with hundreds of references and in jokes which quickly gets annoying and stale but in this case The PDX Broadsides do not.
The production is clean and whoever equalized the acoustic guitar should get an award, I've never heard such a clean chorused sounding guitar which is a great delight to the ears, listen to this with headphones and your ASMR will kick in.I'm looking forward to see what these modern day Bards have in store for the future
- Over all Great album,Great production, Great Band
This album focuses on the nostalgia of the 90's Production is solid and each song has clever lyrics filled with tonnes of 90's references the majority of the tracks were written as part of the (February Album Writing Month) FAWM challenge.
I'm getting a fun Ke$ha vibe from this album with a touch of nostalgic silliness which is fun for everyone. This is the sixth album by the Australian sensation and its up there as one of her best, production is good as always ,she is currently touring Australia so for tour dates click on link below
VS is the 6 track album by indie nerdrock band Pulled From Panels release date: March 25, 2016.Hailing from Essex County Ontario this 3 piece gains their influence from sci-fi, comics, cartoons and the like, this album is more marvel centric with songs like old man Logan and Winter soldier.
This is a great album and with great production, whoever was involved in the producing or mastering, really wanted the consumer to wear headphones as the sound is warm and hugs your ears, as for the tracks on the album I'm getting a Tenacious D, Altered Sky vibe (Altered sky is a pop rock band from the UK) with a touch of college rock.My favourtie track is VS only because its the music I hear in my head whenever I'm in any sort of competition whether be black jack, chess or Star wars Battlefront.Listen to track you'll understand ,In conclusion keep your lug holes open you'll be hearing more from Pulled From Panels VS release date: March 25, 2016.

This 17 track album is a mix of nerd and Geek culture and classic hip-hop.Its a great hip-hop album, with a mid 90's vibe which personally I'm a fan of.
Am I new to this or is there a big Geek/hip-hop movement emerging that I haven't heard of? I'm starting to see this subculture emerge from the internet which I hail. One of my favourites tracks from the album is Track 7)SDF-1
which for all of you that aren't familiar what SDF-1 stands for heres two
I'm sure your going to hear more from TekForce he's already doing shows to check out the links below for more information:

SciFiMusic by Ambush Vin
The most Bang-a-langing Hip-Hop album I've heard this year.
This is a hip-hop album tailored for the offspring of the internet and Geek culture without the tactless, tackiness of the overt
“You get it,YOU GET IT”references
that a lot nerd albums seem to have
if your a hip-hop fan you'll love it and if you’re into the nerd-core seen you'd like it even more what makes it better.
Ambush Vin is a BADMAN lyricist with his multisyllabic rhymes cutting through track upon track on this album.
The supporting artist on this album; Silence,Trice,Ish1da,Tekforce,Rhyme Artist and Alpha Riff are great too and naturally add their own pith to each track they participate in.
Modern hip-hop fans will love it and old school hip-hop fans would appreciate clever lyrical content you'll find yourself having this expression
