DROIDS THEY'VE FINALLY MADE THEM!!!!!

This is the new version of Atlas created by Boston Dynamics developed to work inside and outside an all terrain droid.Wow all that google money hasn't gone to waste

(On 13 December 2013, the company was acquired by Google X, where it will be managed by Andy Rubin.Immediately before the acquisition, Boston Dynamics transferred their DI-Guy software product line to VT MÄK, a simulation software vendor based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.)

Which helps my prediction that I have been saying since 2013, that google will be the first company to create the first domestic robot.

It is specialized for mobile manipulation. It is electrically powered and hydraulically actuated. It uses sensors in its body and legs to balance and LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, help with navigation and manipulate objects. This version of Atlas is about 5' 9" tall (about a head shorter than the DRC Atlas) and weighs 180 lbs.

A quote from Boston Dynamics
